Recognized for his outstanding contributions to the sector, Mr. Zhang was honored with the prestigious title of "National Labor Model of the Iron and Steel Industry," a state-level accolade reflecting his professional prestige and commitment to industrial excellence. Holding dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering, he represents a unique blend of technical mastery and advanced strategic management.


Industrial Roots: Precision Forged from the Frontline Beginning his career in 1989 in steel rolling engineering, Mr. Zhang spent years at the Qingdao Iron and Steel General Company, gaining profound insights into production mechanics. This foundational experience established his reputation for meticulous operational standards. His career accelerated at Shekou Huahai Metallurgical Machinery, rising to Sales Manager within five years, and in 1995, he was admitted to the Communist Party of China in recognition of his professional and civic excellence.


Strategic Governance: Mastering Multi-faceted Industrial Portfolios Since joining Shekou Welmetal Steel in 1996, Mr. Zhang has navigated various leadership roles, including Trade Manager and Vice President. From 2004, he steered critical business units as Vice President of Guangdong Welmetal Group and General Manager of Shenzhen Welmetal Steel and Welmetal Sheet.


A Legacy of Continuous Improvement A firm believer in lifelong learning, Mr. Zhang completed two advanced degrees while leading complex group operations.
